Yea it’s actually risky but they really durable hey, you should just keep them safe then you won’t have an issue.

16TB is nothing compared what’s coming out. A “guy” at Seagate SA told me they busy with 20TBs that’s going for more commercial use and they also busy with concept drives of 60TBs which is looking really good so far. I’m sure those 60TBs will be released in the next 2-3 years.
