Hey y'all,

I know it's a long shot, but I want to slowly upgrade my rig, so if anyone wants to part with a nice screen, there you go.

Item Wanted: Any 27" 144Hz QHD G-Sync Monitor (Freesyncs are easier to find but I'd rather do monitor before Graphics Card)
Packaging Essential: No
Desired Age: Not more than 3 years old
Location: Pretoria
Willing to accept a shipped item: Yes, if packaged properly
Ballpark/Budget Amount: R6000-R8000

FYI
--------

If you don't mind sacrificing G-Sync, the Mecer K3G3R (Link) is an excellent monitor.
It's a 31.5inch 1440p @ 144Hz monitor with a VA panel and Freesync for just R7K brand new.
It's a fairly new monitor and you might be skeptical of the brand, but I've seen good reviews of it by fellow members here on Carbs and it comes with a 2 year warranty. :)

PS. There's a 27inch version for R6K as well, but that has a TN panel. :(

Thanks man. I saw it on most sites. I need the G Sync because I've got a 980Ti so to take advantage of the fancy monitor tech it has to be GSync (the FreeSync driver update only works for Pascal and Turing, and then obviously only with a few monitors)

Doing the slow upgrade crawl and the monitor is the one that's in the most dire need

Ah I feel you, I also got a 980Ti, was super bummed when I found out it's only Pascal and newer GPUs :poop:

But if you do plan to upgrade the GPU as well eventually, I've seen people say the update works with that monitor as well, even though it's not certified (yet), so just keep that in mind. ;)

I have ordered this monitor earlier this week, will give feedback as to the experience that I have when I set it up if people would like me to. (It only arrives next week Thurs/Friday though).

That Mecer now supports gsync.
