E30 325i ? Why not rather go for an E90 320d? Lighter on fuel, more KW and easy to get an additional 15% or so as it has a turbo.
Remove DPF, do a software tune and can even do the xHP gearbox software - has lots more comforts too and more in terms of safety.

Quicker than a Toyota 86, feels quicker than my friends Fiesta ST (ST180), far better engine compared to an 18i (1 series, 3 series - whatever). We won't even stoop as low as to compare against a VW ;) Far better car than my 2014 A4 2.0 TDI for sure.

hey bud might be selling my 370z 2010 +- 125km on the clock auto, and convertible looking at 180k

Bump. Looking at JDM cars too, S2000, Type R, SIlvia, GTR (lol), etc. Fiesta and Focus ST's also welcome :)

For a 1st car, living in Capetown, any e30 will bring you, amongst a lot of joy, attention and offers -much more terror, stress, anguish and ultimately heartache.

already owned a BMW e30 2 years back at 16. It was a horror show. Owning that car is CPT is like walking around with bags of money. And if you find a good one, then its over priced. Most have been pulled through peoples arses

Try checking out Rospa Imports. I see they just set up a showroom with a few R34's and S15 Silvias

Most of the JDM cars you listed will be way over that price (160k).
Sadly cool JDM cars have increased so much in pricing over the last 2 years.

S2000's all at 200-300k if you want something decent
Nissan, you can forget about a GTR in that budget. 350/70z you might be able to get, but even so it'll be on the top end of that budget + a bit most of the time. Maybe a S13 if you get lucky and can find one that isn't stuffed.

Good luck.

Hows it
My dad wants to get rid of his 2005 Z4 3.0I auto black in color, against my advice...
It's currently a daily driver and he's done 10 000 km in the last 8 months probably why he is 'n bit gatvol for it... It currently on 99 500 km so still very new, al seats and steering wheel in a good condition, some preventive maintenance was done for instance shocks/dices and brakes I think a few other suspension parts as well...
R150 000 slightly neg

Ask for an AA report and you should be good.

I own the 1.8Si, 332000km on the clock, not a day's trouble. Take care of it, and it will take care of you

This one has a Dekra report, and it's a pristine example of these cars

Had a focus ST for a number of years, car I miss the most, but you need to be prepeared to spend quite a bit on maintenance. Just know, these cars would have been driven hard, so things are bound to break eventually.

Look at a Mazda MX5 :)

I have had one as a daily driver now for about 5 years.

Never had any major issues and I red line every 2nd shift hahaha

Mazda 3 MPS +- 70k if you can find a decent enough one.. then drop the rest into the motor.
260kw+ daily .. I enjoyed mine and i mess it dearly:eek:
Add your wheels and some TLC
oh and a cobb accessport is a great idea too
