We'll see when it's done CPU will probably be my old Celeron 300A which does a solid 504 MHz, but given the amount of 3D power (Voodoo SLI) I might look at a Pentium 3 on my Gigabyte GA-60XET. It'll be paired up with an Audigy sound card - or maybe a Sound Blaster 16.

Technically XP can handle all retro titles as well as earlier OSs so I thought you might go with that despite it being a retro build. Or alternatively you might go back all the way to 95 so you can have access to the original Hover (not that it doesn't work on later OSs).

No I haven't, but I imagine it would do a whole lot better on a 800Mhz P3 with 512MB?

I know it didn't do too poorly on a friend's overclocked Celeron (I think the clock was only around 560Mhz)
