Check it out, I tested 13 x PSUS 550w - 1475w to see how they cope with the same workload :)
Does it matter to go all the way up to Platinum?

Damn thought it was a bargain bin sale.

Will check review now.

You should call it an efficiency test - I thought you'd be at least measuring noise and ripple, maybe temperatures, an possibly even looking at the quality of the primary and secondary side capacitors.

I also wouldn't say efficiency goes out the window past 80% load. All six 80 Plus certifications require a maximum drop of 3% between 50% load and 100% load.

Good start though - I guess it saves something for next time :)

It definitely does, seems like alot was left on the table. Might do a rev2.0 but probably won't have this many PSUS without a sponsor again :D

Reuse the same ones?

I'd test ripple, noise, temperature and efficiency at 50/75/100% load, as well as see how much load you can apply before OCP kicks in (if it does :ROFLMAO: ).

Some are sold already haha, I will need to get the gear to test all of those points. Super keen as it will help with future tests etc. I am thinking of maybe just testing different brands in same watt and certification.
