Seller: @JasonBourne
Buyer: @Ismaeel Behardien

@JasonBourne was selling a 1080Ti FTW3 card 2 weeks ago. I wanted to buy the card and have been waiting, every day this guy came with reasonable excuses as to why he didn't have the card yet, I complied and waited. The card came today via courier. I payed R8670 which was the agreed amount, and what came it packaging this morning was an empty Rx 570 box.

No ways! Im literally in the same situation!

I bought a 1080ti from the guy, again reasonable excuses. In and out of hospital etc.

What arrives at my place? A R8000 CPU cooler.

There is a trend here and he is not answering my messages.

People who work like this on Carb dont last long.

Still trying to see where in my x16 slot I can fit this CPU cooler.

FML

Did you report him yet? Im thinking of doing the same as I am completely upset by the way this is being handled.

From what he's told me, buying and selling GPU's is his bread and butter so there is no reason to become unreachable.

He has responded.

Refund imminent.

Will update.
@Ageless_ZA can we get any information on what to do next?

@LJWM seems to have a problem with him as well as @GecKo who payed for his gpu from @JasonBourne last week Tuesday and is only receiving it tomorrow.
I received the parcel today, but it was not my GPU at all.

I have requested a refund, hopefully it comes through in a reasonable amount of time.

Hey guys, just my 5cents here.
I have been on carb for a while now and go out of my way to deliver items to buyers. Lol and dont charge haha.

But regarding this guy jason. There was post. He was selling the same card, claiming he had 2 of them. I was first in line. Told him before paying anything, my buddy in PE will check to see if all is good.
He then quickly back tracked.

The card was at his friend's house but he only had the empty box. He forgot the card was in his friends pc bcus they were having a lan.

Who does that en nogal 'n 1080ti really. Yoh ek sal mos dai kaart dik mine.

Then he told me his friend will be back on Wednesday which will be 5 days later. But i must do payment asap cus there is another guy that wants it also.

If need be, i should still have the correspondence. Its too much to say.

At 11:08 today I was told the refund would be done in 20 minutes.

Random excuses the whole day as to why other stuff must first be sorted then he will get to my stuff.

Messaged again at 15:49, no reply.

Another message at 20:03, no reply.

He said he will do direct transfer.

@Ismaeel Behardien Do you have any resolution from the guy?

I woke up today with a refund of R6800 which is R1250 short and I have been given another excuse as to why he can't pay the full amount back.

This guy is something special.

Also wanted the 1080ti FTW3 and as I am in PE I wanted to meet up. Lots of side stepping and stories I just left it. Where there is smoke....

The last I heard from him regarding the matter was that the card is in durban. I have my money but that's all from my side.

Hasn't sent anything since.

Evening All,

Firstly, yes there has been two unfortunate deals with issues I've had with the couriers and the wrong information from my part, then it was rectified by the couriers then it wasn't. I had many items leaving over those two occassions, and yes, my "medical condition" was not used as an excuse, but just a fact that I've been man down, not myself, and aware the items they recieved was incorrect,

I did not decline EITHER person a refund, as I do believe in getting what you paid for, and if incorrect items were recieved, then I will do a refund if one cannot wait for the issue to be resolved. I did not argue to pay back either buyer.

@Ismaeel Behardien - He was refunded immediately and did post he was fully reimbursed and that the issue was resolved. I did recieve the card back, and will be selling it locally and face to face .

@LJWM - To my shock he recieved a CPU cooler that was meant for a client in the Eastern Cape. We wanted an immediate refund and I told him I needed to move money around. Firstly, I did not have the full amount available without transferring money from another account and it takes 24hrs to reflect. As I do move money around from a few different banks, I then put funds into pockets. I did pay him R6800 this morning 25/03/21. As I was busy, and non stop, I got a work collougue to go to the ATM cash deposit for the outstanding R1200 cash also today the 25/03/21. That money should have reflected long ago. So @LJWM should have the full amount as promised. Also, I even paid R333 at my expense to send it directly to his house from PostNet, and I even asked for overnight delivery. So from Friday 19th March, they only sent the package off on the 23rd March after me paying R333, if that's not trying, then I guess I must try harder. I don't ask for extra postage either. And I never declined to not refund the man, I just never expected to refund in such a sudden fashion, but I made arrangements and I did repay him the full amout in under 48hrs. I too will have the card back in my position tomorrow or next week, but will also be selling locally.

@GecKo - He did recieve his card today, as that deal at least went smoothly and sent to to correct address. He says it's running perfectly.

I do apologise to all for the frustration, and no, I am not running a scam. I've paid both purchases back, I've had delays due to my bladder infection (sorry if my health issues are an inconvenience @LJWM. Between me recovering and sorting out the barage of negative news and postings, plus other things I have going on, I do sincerely apologise. It's also been an absolute mess trying to get my items back.

Mistakes do happen, and they do happen with couriers as well. Going forth, I will be using ONLY The Courier Guy who can collect straight from me and straight to the door.

I have had 20 positive deals, and am expecting another 3 added to my iTrader. This is something I never want happening, and it has. It's been a truly s#it 2 weeks for me. I've done my best to pay all parties back, as well as trying to find out what is wrong.

Unfortunately, I have this negative post, which I do respect, plus 1 negative feedback comment, I don't even know if one can operate with a negative deal or feedback. I'm going to make sure this doesn't happen ever again.

Sincere apologies for the mess, not the way I like to do things, as you can see from my past 20 positive iTraders.

Thank you!

@JasonBourne Selling locally means on carbonite but only in your area? Or not online at all? It seems to me its more like a way of pretending you had GPUs to sell, when in actuality you never had any and just needed some quick funds.

You reek of fish my dude.

Refund has been given. This issue is now resolved.
