Ok, I think I've solved it, for me at least. The problem is with the Afrihost APN, I've been using the mtn apn for a week now and it hast happend once. I'll confirm this when I switch back to the afrihost apn and see if it happens. Speaking to Afrihost they seem to have no idea of how to fix...

I've switched to the mtn apn from afrihost and I've not had the problem once so far, lets see how it goes, if by the end of the week I've not had a problem I'll switch back and try adfrihost again to confirm. If it does, I'm binning afrihost, I've had enough of them and their apn problems.
