Ahh, I wasn't sure if the cpu needed to be paired with an X470/B450 chipset to unlock XFR2. With the influx of well priced X370 boards that are going to come when people start buying X470, it might be a very good opportunity to grab one.

This is true. Didn't feel the need for X370 because of the fact that X470 was just around the corner. I am interested to see what OC capability difference exists between the two platforms though, so will be holding on to the b350 until I can get a 2000 series Ryzen chip. The X470 should blow it...

Cpu hasn't given issues overclocking through Ryzen master, and the previous owner sent proof of its ability to OC. So can't be much except bios issues. Will certainly be looking at X470 and Ryzen 2 in the future. I could have waited, but my i3 3220 was really getting me down.

I'm just going to wait it out and see if they un-fuck the bios. Although an X470 will be the next board I get, planning on a staggered upgrade to Ryzen 2. Will be a few months though. 3.95ghz through Ryzen master is doing fine for now, but keenly await the ability to OC from bios

As I said, I am using the latest bios version 7A34vAD released on the 20th of March 2018. As for Ryzen Master, it works to OC through the software, but I do prefer being able to go through bios so I don't need to apply an OC profile at every start-up. I emailed them while I was troubleshooting...

Got this board recently, and with the latest bios, cannot get even a 32.25 multiplier on my R5 1400 set through bios to POST. Underclocking works just fine, as does memory overclocking. I've tried this with default settings, with an OC on the memory, with nothing but the graphics card installed...
