Whilst the device is off, where you have the dual gears for the Z axes ( up and down movement ), At the bottom where the gears are which hold the thread, turn those both the same direction and see if the Z axis centre bar starts going up or down, It could be that you havent plugged the cable...

Ye i use it for pretty much everything, discord, and voice attack programs in games It literally cancells out any unwanted noises, like mechanical keyboard typing, fan noises, vaping etc, all the things friends complained about, and it only detects voice, so its really amazing
