    Carbie Car Guys!

The Cayenne and Touareg is in a different league than the older Pajeros. The newer Pajero Sport is dope though, and obviously the most capable. Touareg is amazing all round, but still expensive 1m car even if you buy it for 150k.

    Carbie Car Guys!

I visited the BMW museum in Munich ~2012 and had the opportunity to sit in the then newly launched 6xxi grand coupe. Salesman even let me start and rev on the main floor. Pretty much hooked me on that car for quite a few years.

Assistance with engine for my car

Look, I won't defend my ability to read... But I think this was a comprehension problem... I simply couldn't comprehend that someone would be so bold to ask. Then again, maybe the beers he is offering is Antartica Nail Ale? https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antarctica-nail-ale

Which one would you go back to @JG_RSA (ignoring your current whip)? 850i? We started a 'car' fund to buy something nice in a few years time. Fairly high on the list is a 550i.

    Carbie Car Guys!

My dad went through the same jol about a year ago. He ended up in a MX50d. Feels much snappier than the Cayennes that we test drove. Don't think the VW diesels were really made with 'jaag' in mind. This BMW motor though... The S Petrol was peppy and made awesome noises. Don't go test drive one.

    Keyboard Nut Thread

A vacuum form would've made it MUCH easier, but during those years we thought we were invinsible and we could do anything. So cut and layer... But I just never could get the corners right. Ugh, don't take me back. The hood was on a Fiesta ST 180. The final resin coat was a bit uneven, but...

Yesss, if it goes south the case is gone. 🙃 After an attempt or two to skin I gave up. Got great success on a car hood though.

My little Deye unit that could - help with config pls.

Will get an electrician to have a look what is going on and how it is configured. I also have a quote or two already for battery and panels. Here's my config: I found this setting, and flicked it onto 'Self Consumption Mode' and set to 60%.

My little Deye unit that could - help with config pls.

Yis bud, they installed an 'inverter' aircon on Monday that we've been running the past two evenings. (Absolute heaven). It is wired to a switch in the DB marked aircon. I assume this is not on the inverter either... Thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it.

Howsit all. I recently bought a house with an existing 8kw Deye inverter, a single 5.12kw Dyness and 7 solar panels. I'm in the process of getting quotes for more panels and adding/upgrading batteries. The battery has been discontinued so I can't just buy an additional one apparently...

    Alcantara/Suede resoration - help needed.

@sabie 's method has been fantastic. Working on the wheel on-and-off between moving. Left side almost completely done: Right side busy drying after a light application of 'seude cleaner' a co-worker swore by. Only one of two stubborn spots left. Will have another round of sunlight if no...

3D Printing.. where you guys at!!!

What does it help if the 'center rotates' and everything else is static? Don't you want the tiers to rotate like a lazy susan? /s :p That pink filament is dope. Bubblegum color schemes makes the kid in me happy.

3D Printing.. where you guys at!!!

As time goes on, this question becomes more and more difficult to answer. I've had 3D printers now for about ~10 years. It is a tool I use similar to having a hammer or skill saw. Sooo many projects, templates, throw away parts over the years. Most used: Headphone hanger or new feet for my...
