I think I'm going to look out for deals on DLC/Expansion stuffs for the games I play.... yes, I'm looking at you Assetto Corsa.

You should wait for the final few days of the sale when they repeat the biggest savings and most popular sales.

It hasn't been like that for the last 2 or so years. Sale percentages are fixed throughout duration of the sale. Although they still highlight and "Encore" on the final day of supposedly all the best deals again but they have been there the entire time, now they are just collected to look all pretty.

And in fact depending on what you want you may have had a better discount in the weeks preceding the Sale and possibly a week or two after as well till things quieten down again.
 
Steam store is getting taken up the butt. It takes minutes to open up a game’s page :/
 
Nier Automata not on sale.. Steam sale useless to me.
meh, might get firewatch. I heard it's good.
Though the 1st tomb raider reboot game is on sale, R80 or something.
If you don't have it, get it.
 
Steam sales are great when there is something you've been waiting for to pick up on discount and actually play, not just add to your library.

If you don't have them in your library yet the Squeenix bundle often goes for 70-80% off which includes this and lots of other quality games. All Hitman games (aside from the new episodic release one), all Tomb Raider games (aside from 2nd reboot games and 2nd co-op game). It's great value for money.
Not sure whether it's also running this sale though.

If you buy from GoG as well rather wait for a sale there. I hear the GoG versions are better. (less censored or modified or something)
Unless you're talking New Vegas and FO3, then go right ahead.

Eh Tomb Raider is R47 for the GOTY edition

Eh or to fill up additional Steam accounts :p

I have 4 X Steam accounts. My main account, a second account for games like The Crew where save progress could not be reset so I bought it to play it again and the other accounts I use for free Humble Bundle games or if I already have them on my main account then I let guests use them if we have LAN weekends and they don't have games on the list :D

This is true, bought Lego Force Awakens with the season pass for R144. Been wanting to play since the release.
