This chassis it getting rave reviews.
Me thinks Der8auer is onto a good series of co-work projects with major manufacturers.

It's just a pity that it's $100.00 in the USA and ~R3 800.00+ here. Boo000!.

Thoughts? Is this worth R4 000.00?

Not the same case bud, here is another link to the O11 --> Lian Li PC-011WGX ROG, Midi Tower, White, No PSU (Bottom Placed PSU...
Note, this is not the O11 Dynamic that you are talking about. You can see that in the rubber grommets between the motherboard tray and the AIO.
This case looks stunning though, and I have been keeping an eye out for local pricing, no luck yet.

@RebelTech Maybe Rebel can confirm if we will even get the Dynamic's at some point?

However, we still need to get pricing and availability on this case! I've watched quite number of reviews of this bad boi.
Honestly, if it's $130 the case should be R1800 - R2300 locally, right??

seeing as it is also a "custom" case, you can picture it being more than the standard

The case is made out of mild steel, so should technically not be that expensive.... but yeah.....

Yep, regardless of the construction materials, the MSRP is still $130.

Sigh, me wants! I see mentions of an "Air" variant as well, but last time I checked there was very little info on the net about it.
From the CES pictures, it seems like the Air variant will have the front panel glass replaced in order to support fans.. Boo hoo! That is simply going to to the standard design for most cases then!

Hehehe, Roman didn't exactly design the case. Made improvements on a case that was already there.
I know this because I was working on a particular Lian Li project when this case and others were in the works as far back as last year.
Awesome case though, and of course they Der8auer and Lian Li work well together, not only because of CaseKing relationship, but CEO's son and he are good friends. The more influence Der8auer has, the better the products coming out.

Yeah really like this case, though it could be a nightmare to keep it clean with all the glass on the thing! Still, I reckon for the looks, I'd be willing to clean it every weekend!
My Phanteks Enthoo is great, but it's getting stale to look at.

@RebelTech Any word on if / when this case will become available locally?

The estimate is R2099 and they expect it to be here in 2-3 weeks but not the white one

Bloody hell, you are going to cost me money! Haha, I need the O11 in my life!
I see they support vertical GPU's as well, but IMO the vertical builds look better.

Any news? Everyone I talked to said they couldn't confirm pricing or dates of arrival because of "the supplier".

Who is this mysterious "supplier" and why aren't they bringing it in? I thought this case would be a home run with PC builders.

Should either be a direct import from the manufacturer or a parallel import using another supplier - it's a pretty niche item. I also think that demand from the USA and Europe may outweigh our demand and therefor, we are placed on the back orders page.

Why struggle to get the thing to a tiny 3rd world country at the bottom of the African continent if you can put it with another huge consignment heading to the worlds second biggest economy where you are almost certainly going to sell out quickly?

I don't mind that we're low on the supply-food-chain, my issue is that we're completely in the dark about timing AND pricing. Plus all the retailers I spoke to make it sound like the supplier really isn't doing enough anyway.

Also doesn't explain all the above comments about shipping being delayed etc... unless there was a shipment that came in under the radar?

Just having worked in retail and knowing something about importing goods, it's complicated.
There are so many factors including paying upfront for the goods, at a set price, with the Rand/$ exchange rate considered and then it still has to be put on a massive ship, sent to ZA and then offloaded.

It's really hard with shoes, imagine importing a high end chassis that's way more fragile?
