arcade cabinet

HI guys busy building a arcade cabinet ,stuck at connecting a crt monitor to a pc ,any help here .
still want to keep the retro feel and look
and also a local supplier for joysticks and buttons
 



 



its a arcade crt so it does not have av outputs ,it has 4 wires out the monitor to a board have no idea what that board is and there is no av on that board ,will send pics later today

Ah - i see - that's a little trickier - uses RGB from what I recall.
I had a similar roadblock many moons ago and ripped out the cabinet CRT and put in a normal TV CRT - tried that for a while and then just moved to LCD. Back then getting the arcade crt working was more hassle than it was worth and I opted for an easier path.

Getting a normal cheap CRT tv with RCA might be a cheaper option - those things sell for dirt cheap. I can appreciate you wanting to keep the whole 'old school' look and feel with staying original though :)

Used GameX on the cabinet and PinballX on my virtual pin.
Wanted to keep the frontends sort of consistent from the same developers on both.
GameX works really well
 
Thanks for the input and advice guys ,solved this problem ,will need a video downscaler (GBS8100) its converts the 15khz to 31khz which is your normal vga signal

Thanks for the update - if I ever decide to build another cabinet will consider keeping the CRT

Saw it's relatively inexpensive on Amazon
