Crossplay on? Queuing for everything? Seems a bit strange. But yes it's a huge patch (20GB console nearly 50 PC) so it's taking a while for people to catch up.
 
I got smashed so badly this afternoon by console kids felt like date rape HAHAHA well i got like 6 kills
 
So caved and bought this for all of R310 from battle.net (thanks to some argentinian vpn)
Now to wait for replacement pc bits so I can get my pc running again and see if this game is all that.

Please share your ways.

I moved from console to PC about 2 weeks ago, and don't feel like paying 1k again for the game. Been on the look out for cheap keys on the interwebs, but so far no luck.

there was a article in one of the threads which indicated using a vpn (uVPN) on Chrome, setting region to Argentina and then creating a new Argentinian account and buying the game through the browser.
Nice thing is you dont need to use the vpn when downloading the game or playing it as it's not region locked.
Also creating a Russian account should work too, but I think the payment is a bit more complicated.

At the time I bought it, Blizzard also had a 35% off on the standard edition so my price dropped from around R500 for standard edition to R310.
It would have cost ~R500 with the 35% off if buying it in USD so had a double saving of sorts.

Had a few fun games last night with @HNO3 and a couple of mates ! Here's a quick 10 minute game that we dominated !

You guys should play search and destroy, lobbies are always filled with toxic people(99% of them being xbox/ps4) :D
For some reason console players are always either moaning about PC players or trying to shout and scream about how superior they are.
It's quite hilarious how the avg console snd player seems to find any and every excuse about why they lost to a PC player as well as go through every emotion in the book in a single match.

For some reason it's always a partied up group of older Afrikaans speaking guys just going through the MAXIMUM about me playing on pc. "PC bots" if they win a round and dead silence when they lose the match.

Oh trust bro it's brilliant, the other day this ps4 guy was bragging about how he got his TV down to a 7ms response time and he's just gonna dominate now....... goes 0-6 then goes on a rant about how PC people are such sweat lords 😅

I've disabled crossplay - don't enjoy the console guys and half the time their mics are open.
also search and destroy is really hard if you just casually queue - you really need a team that plays well together for that ;)
 
Can't believe I have to power up my console to play this.

I need a good sale to get it on PC, I'm not a f#k paying 1k twice for the same game.

These update sizes are getting even more ridiculous. Didnt look when it started so dont know the full size but when i did i seen a cool 62GB.

BO4 was almost triple the base size when I uninstalled it and they barely added stuff so it's safe to assume MW is going to be well over 200GB once it dies out, if it's not already over 200GB.

THis crossplay for me doesnt work, xbox vs p4, yeah that is fine

Im not on pc anymore and moved over to console for the rpg and games wife and kids could play together
why ppl grieving on chats its really beyond me

I for the first time, unmuted chat, and was lucky enough to have a nice team of guys playing
but, good grief ppl are bad at times

I just dont get how 2 or 3 new maps and a crap ton of cosmetics gets to 68 GBs. Its like downloading a whole new game every season.

General Fixes
  • Fix for the "Focused" challenge not tracking properly
  • Krovnik Farmland
    • Added back into rotation
    • Removed access to the second floor in a handful of centrally located houses (see the locations below marked in red)
    • Fixes for various exploits across Ground War maps
    • Fixed an issue where players could team kill Care Package owners and teammates capturing Care Packages
    • Fix for Platinum and Damascus camos sometimes having a blinding glare when in certain areas that contain sunlight
    • Fix for a rare bug that could prevent players from accessing the barracks, weapons, and/or Operators tabs after matches
    • Disabled the "Copy Loadout" feature
Field Upgrades

  • Trophy System: Deploy time has been reduced by about half a second
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to get infinite Weapon Drops by cancelling Killstreaks. Killstreaks are no longer usable when the Weapon Drop grenade is equipped
  • Fixed a bug where objectives were not giving Field Upgrade progress
Perks – Rebalancing

  • Perk 1 Slots
    • Overkill: Switched places with Killchain and will now be in Perk 2
    • E.O.D.: Removed hacking ability (added to Spotter perk)
    • Double Time: Double the recharge rate of Tactical Sprint
    • Quick Fix: Reduced health regeneration delay – any kill will immediately start regeneration
  • Perk 2 Slots
    • Ghost: Remove Snapshot grenade immunity (moved to Battle Hardened)
    • Restock: Change the equipment recharge rate from 30 to 25 seconds
    • Killchain: Switched places with Overkill In Perk 1
    • Pointman: Increase the score gain for Scorestreaks across all modes
  • Perk 3 Slots
    • Tune Up: Increase Field Upgrade cost reduction
    • Spotter: Added hacking ability (from E.O.D.); we're currently working on the ability to hack through walls.
    • Battle Hardened:
      • Added Snapshot grenade immunity (moved from Ghost)
      • Added Gas grenade resistance:
        • Cough is no longer played when a player enters gas
        • Reduced slowdown under gas effect
        • Reduced blur when under gas effect
Weapons

  • Crossbow:
    • Fix for some kills not tracking properly when attempting to unlock the Crossbow
    • Fixed explosive Fury crossbow bolts to not kill Juggernauts in one hit
    • Very slight tuning to the reload speed. We're still fine tuning this one, so more adjusting is in the works
    • Fixed a bug where the Crossbow did not do any melee damage to Deployable Cover
  • SA87– Smoothed out recoil, increased damage
  • Increased RAM-7 extended mags ammo count from 45 to 50
  • *A note from the weapons team! The Solozero NVG Enhanced is supposed to see through smoke, but a rendering bug broke this one optic temporarily. We’ll have it fixed shortly!
Special Operations:

  • Operation Harbinger: Fixed an issue with a checkpoint that could cause players to spawn under the map
Keyboard and Mouse

  • Added Change to Loadout keybinds for Custom Loadouts 6 to 10, allowing players to quickly switch to any of their favorite Loadouts with the press of a button.
  • Fixed a visual issue where highlighting the usernames of multiple people in a lobby with the mouse cursor could lead to multiple Emblem/Player Card/Level UI elements appearing and overlapping each other.
Call of Duty League

  • Removed Specialist restrictions
COD Caster

  • For Keyboard & Mouse Codcasters, it is now possible to bring up player Field Upgrades by pressing a key in the same way as they can with Killstreaks. This also shows the exact progress until each player unlocks their respective Field Upgrade.
  • Player health levels are displayed in the background of their portraits
  • Player numbers are now displayed in the minimap and are larger when viewed on the full map
PC

  • When using the Tracker perk, footprints are now visible even when the Bullet Impacts & Sprays option is disabled in the Graphics tab
  • Several fixes to prevent crashes and improve stability
 
Howzit guys. I bought MW for PC on Wednesday. Installed it yesterday and I got the dahm issue that seems to be floating around. I cant even load up to the menu before I get CTD. My specs are fine I5 9600k 16gb DDR4 and 1080ti. I’ve tried most of if not all of the tips on youtube etc. This is super annoying and its a grand in the water. Hope someone on here can help.

The only way I could fix it was literally re-installing windows.

I'm not sure why people have issues with crossplay. I have had it enabled from day 1 of playing.
Yes there are toxic people, both on PC and consoles. I mute the people that excessively talk crap or rage. Luckily enough the game actually remembers who you muted so if you play with them again, they are still muted.
I think I've muted most of the rubbish toxic players.

But then again, I generally play with 3 other guys and when we lose it's fine. we all just carry on like nothing happened, Makes the experience much calmer.
 
Crossplay in MW is very well done actually. I always have it on.

I have zero issues with it apart from PS4 players having the worst open mic's known to mankind. I've shat on an have been shat on in return by PC players. It's the same as any other platforms, it's not as if every single PC gamer is in the elite of the elite skill bracket. Same goes for console.

I moved over to pc gaming about a month ago, didn't buy MW on pc yet but wanted to see what it would be like with m&kb yesterday. Jeezus, after a month of pc gaming at high - epic settings, console gaming looks like a half polished turd though. Went back to my pc after 5mins. Can't believe that's what I was content with for over a decade.

I dream of a day where all games are crossplay. That's what all gamers should want.

On this topic has anyone since the update been having the lag/glitch issue where the orange icon pops up on the left and the game lags ?

Ping is fine runnnign between 15 & 30

Yeah played last night and really struggled, game felt very sluggish yet ping is low and FPS is always above 70.
