I installed a pyounting antenna recently which boosting my signal from 0 to actually something usable however
Even though it's full signal rain is slower when i just used my older router (b315)
But when i use the b525 lte router it is slower but has full signal and i don't understand whats going on is there a certain band frequency or something please assist if you know if i can try anything

Welcome to rain...

Fokol you can do about it bud.

Coming from someone in the industry, this is why you don't touch rain with a 10 foot pole.

Their 5G network will go the same.

Now for some actual input. The reason.

They've completely and utterly over sold their product. You're one of the lucky ones that's connecting to an over saturated tower.

In simple terms, tower can handle 10 people at 100mbps. But tower has 100 people connecting to it, so you're only getting a fraction of the speed you should.

Sorry for your misfortune

I swear during 6pm to 11pm it shoots through the roof cause i still have that 7days free 24hrs uncapped but as soon as it's during the day 400-500 kbs
But my upload speed is 1mb ..... I'm on the 1800mhz band i think i tried 2300mhz i believe that completely lost signal as soon as i changed .... not sure what to do at this point but thank you for your inputs gentleman :)

Rain doesnt use 2300mhz. Its 2600mhz you looking for. Not sure about the other bands.

Some basic info to keep note:

Rain uses 1800MHz and 2600MHz but DOES NOT do Carrier aggrigation.
B525 router will auto connect to 1800MHz only - even though the router does support 2600MHZ. You will need a script to force it to 2600MHZ on the rain network. (See this post on MyBB - Do you see 4G+ or 4G with Rain?)
1800MHz is generally slower on the download, but faster on the upload and has better ping/latency.
2600MHz is generally faster on the download, but slower on the upload and has more sporadic ping/latency.

Check your signal info and post it here.
Eg here is mine being under 100m from the tower with a B525 router:

Would i be able to unscript say if i needed to play an online game like overwatch or call of duty ?

Yes. Just run the appropriate script. If all else fails and you feel you have lost track of what you are doing. A normal reset will set everything to factory default.
