All phones in general look the same to me. Much of a muchness
Why remove 3D Touch? It was something nobody else had, and I actually like it.
3D Touch is removed in iOS 13 beta, so it seems it's gone on older devices as well. From what I can see it only works on the camera/torch shortcuts on the lockscreen. All other 3D Touch functionality has been replaced by long touch only.I am inclined to go buy an XS now (hope it gets price slashed to be even more appealing), as the new iPhone is a downgrade on some levels.
Tbh, all phones with multiple cameras look bad. Feels like such an after thought to the enire phone's design.I was hoping the renders where not true, but they where and damn that new iphone is ugly. Steve Jobs would have fired them all..

It's also much of a muchness... They all look similar these days.
Some people call it to the stovetop.Apple really worked hard how to make something worse than the notch. And credit to their R&D, they have succeeded.
Don't agree with that. The Note 10's rear design is neat enough.Tbh, all phones with multiple cameras look bad. Feels like such an after thought to the enire phone's design.
7t coming soon so further price drops hopefullySome people call it to the stovetop.
This would be my budget choice: https://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_009591521059.html?wid=1349303
$469 for the normal OP7 and the Pro could be the slightly more expensive premium option.
Oneplus babeh! ANDROID POWA!

These faster and faster chips mean little for user experience ... I think we at a point where the performance of most high end smart phones is adequate.
What we do need is better battery life (they say 5 hours more on this 11 pro max) ... Better phone durability (screens scratches breaks etc). I know there is a secondary market for accessories that would potentially be hurt if a phone makers decided to do a sapphire crystal display
But the innovation strategy for most cell phone makers is to give us better cameras and turn us all into movie producers. I am quite content with my phone's current photography abilities and was content with the phone before it and the phone before that tbh. If I really was into photography I would have had some serious photography gear already (especially at the iPhone price point)
People have become too fixated on benchmarks and epeen rivarily. Those benchmarks mean nothing in day to day use. Two things apple should have done:
1 drop the price on the phone to be inline with the note 10 plus spec for spec
2 64gb minimum. The least they could have done was double it
Arrogance for any company no matter your size is a dangerous thing. Apple should consider they in a market with a few good alternatives consumers now have ... My opinion is sales will be the worst apple have seen in years on a new iPhone release (I could be very wrong but just on looks alone this thing is ugly) ... There just doesn't seem anything much "new" for me. From the end I'll be using the phone it will look exactly the same ... The UI will be exactly the same. The experience at which I do stuff will be exactly the same. I am going back to android (note 10 plus). Bought the leather cover for it already [emoji1787]

I still have a 6s plus, put it next to the X and the X feels stupid without the home button and fingerprint id.
So for all these generations Iphone for me although getting ever so slightly better than the 6s plus never once did I think hey I need to go spend R30,000 on the new iphone. I wouldn't mind one, but they can keep it at that price.
Same thing happening with note 9 to note 10. Really not much there that is so much better than the previous device.
And the glass everywhere sucks, this metal body 6s plus has stood the test of time and looks like new (and it has fallen more than I care to remember).
I sold my broken note 8 after the 2nd screen repair, as it just shatters when you look at it funny.
So for guys on contract this might be a decent enough upgrade, I hate contracts and bought all my phones cash. So even if I could pay R30k for a smartphone, it really doesnt seem very enticing this year.
And the stove on the 11 pro max is fugly to say the least. I keep hoping it would grow on me, but nope.
