Anyone tried to file? i don't see my tax certificate for 2019? Anyone else? I want moniesssss
Nah don't do that. The SARS buggers will find you and tell you that you owe them 30K and you must pay or else. Happened to me, twice, the bastards. Last year they had to pay me monies though.Well my employer closed down and I never got an IRP5 so I'm just gonna leave this one and not submit a return for now.
The SO's is doing that. Also dont want to save anything, always reverts back to a new blank form. I have not checked mine yet.Anyone tried to file? i don't see my tax certificate for 2019? Anyone else? I want moniesssss
Last year they took about a week for me and over 5 months for the SO. Luck of the draw I guess. How long does SARS normally take to payout if they owe me?

There is nothing on efiling. No IRP5 has been submitted. I tried doing a normal submission but efiling disables the checkbox for did you receive any income that is on an IRP5. Calculation results then just says I owe nothing. Please dont do this.. Please. been down this road.... it doesnt end well for you.

I fell under that category as I was studying last year and only received a real salary Jan and Feb, so if I did not file a tax return I would not have gotten any money back.Don't know why nobody's mentioned this....
Perhaps you fall in this category and then you should be okay to not file.If you earn less than R500,000 you no longer have to submit tax returns
SARS commissioner Edward Kieswetter presented his plans for the 2019 tax season on Tuesday morning (4 June), including the announcement that taxpayers earning below R500,000 are now no longer required to submit returns.businesstech.co.za
Unless you just register for provisional tax. Enter your income as shown on your payslip. There is nothing on efiling. No IRP5 has been submitted. Sars will expect you to pay something, so just keep your payslips that allege that your employer paid PAYE for you
Yes...you won't get anything back, but you should also not receive a "Go to jail, Go straight to Jail, Do not pass go, do not collect R500" cardI fell under that category as I was studying last year and only received a real salary Jan and Feb, so if I did not file a tax return I would not have gotten any money back.
Now I'm getting a (relatively) decent amount back.
But good to know for future reference, thanks.
Thanks this helped me cause for the life of me I could not figure out how to get to it.Not sure if you sorted yet. Also couldn't find my return.
You have to request it then only will it be generated.
Returns Issued >> Personal Income Tax (ITR12)
Select 2019 from the drop down list >> Request Return
Yea I had to google how to get mine goingThanks this helped me cause for the life of me I could not figure out how to get to it.
That first claim when you start work, getting the whole Jan and Feb back, really helps in getting set up. Sort out whatever debt you might have incurred moving to your job, or to scrape together that first real deposit for rent, or for your empty living room to get a chairI fell under that category as I was studying last year and only received a real salary Jan and Feb, so if I did not file a tax return I would not have gotten any money back.

The accuracy in this. I'm paying off debt that was incurred paying a deposit for a flat. That first claim when you start work, getting the whole Jan and Feb back, really helps in getting set up.
