Are you willing to pay for 100GB disk space at our hosts per month? And increase them as people post more images on carbonite?

Hi Viv

Will the images be lost once the thread is closed ? To keep the amount of images on the site down

I see why you guys switched ...

What's the easiest way to upload images ?

Does uploading via Tapatalk take space on carb server?

Please do message the site owners and ask them how much the additional hosting space would cost so that you can pay for it? They could have been blunt and made this entire site sit behind a paywall to cover the costs but instead opted to keep it free and going! Alternatively OLX has free image hosting Im sure you would find it easier to work there then?

Honestly it takes 5 minutes max to upload to imgur and share the library in your post which equated to the same time it took to get the picture off my phone and uploaded here.

Or just use tapatalk. It's even easier

Enough that it's just not worth it.

Are there different tiers in terms of pricing and storage, would there not be one that's semi reasonable that could work with a file size limitation? Whatsapp has a good compression to quality ratio for reference, think it's maybe 200kB an image. How many images were wiped?

Or not sure how difficult it would be script a compression tool for carbonite or what load it might put on the server (I imagine it wouldn't be too much though).

We'd be looking at R12,000 a year for an extra 75GB of storage.

Hence why we say, use the free image hosts available to the general populus.
