Headphone stand arrived today, exactly as shown in pic, works perfectly! Thanks Toi. :loyal:

should look at possibly getting rid of the 3d Printing marks on the piece. Would look killer then

I actually like the marks. The buyer can easily sand it off with a fine sandpaper if he so wishes, but I like the marks. Looks cool.

Yeah sadly print lines....those are the nature of the beast, there is no way around them.

Yeah sure I can use filler and sand them etc but it would not be viable to sit and do prep work for 3 hours over and above the 5 hours it takes to print one.

I also like the print marks, gives it some texture :)

there are ways that you can remove the lines without having to sand them etc, but like i said before each to their own.
I personally prefer it without the marks

Far from perfect (I got lazy and the detail makes it very difficult), but sanding it down with a rough and then fine grain sandpaper gets it pretty smooth. Then sprayed with a surface primer (I use Tamiya Fine). If you aren't using a camera and flash the lines rare non existent.

You mean acetone bath?

Yeah that works wonders in removing almost all the line in ABS but sadly I only print PLA.

Autodesk's Fusion360, if I'm not mistaken.

Perhaps a fishing sinker or two worked into the bottom of the bungee would be a nice idea? Cheap and easy to put in, not to mention it'll reduce printing volume.

Here is another stand

@R200.00 each excluding shipping
