Hey guys and girls

So it's that time of year again. Some of you may have seen some of my previous builds under my personal account AztekSA. But for this years build we will be posting within our company account.
If you guys like what you see have a look at our website: http://www.enigmamodding.co.za/,
also a like on facebook would be appreciated :p https://www.facebook.com/enigmamodifications/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel#

The plan for this years build is to give people going to expos the opportunity to try out both the top of the range Intel and AMD offerings. Thus allowing them to make an informed decision before deciding on there next upgrade.
In other words this will be a Dual PC, Hence the name Duel Elite (a dual between the elite offerings from rival companies).

Further more we would like to show that ASUS provides top tier products whether you decide to go with Intel, Nvidia or AMD based products.
I'd like to thank ASUS South Africa for their continued support, as without them none of this would be possible.

So without any further blatant marketing... Let's get started :)

I'd like to start this build log off with the Intel Side of things.

ASUS has been kind enough to sponsor us with the following items already.
Motherboard: https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-MAXIMUS-IX-HERO/
CPU: https://ark.intel.com/products/97129/Intel-Core-i7-7700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_50-GHz

We are still waiting to hear exactly what graphics card we will be receiving for the Intel side, but it should not take to much TIme till we find out.
We will be pairing the Hero Board with dual Intel SSD6 256gb NVME Solid State Drives in Raid 0, in order to make use of this great feature on the hero board.

Both sides of the case will support a 480mm and 240mm radiator, include a custom reservoir and horizontally mounted GPUS.

For now here are some renders of the case and some quick snaps of the parts we have received so far. I will be going more in depth on why we have designed the case the way we have as the project continues.

Gotta love the way this board looks.

Wait till you see it when it's lit up with the AURA software.

The reinforced PCIE bracket does wonders for the looks and reliability of the board.

Can you feel the speed. We might just have to ultracool this monster.

Did someone mention transfer rates?

First Draft of the Intel side of the case.

So that's it for now. Give the thread a sub if you want to keep track of whats happening. We should be receiving the finished Intel Compartment towards the end of next week.
For now let me know what color scheme you guys think I should go with the case itself.

How about Hydro Dip there are a few places that do that sort of thing in south africa kind of matches the board, but did vote above

Matte Black with that sexy case. But actually a type of burgundy red with that black board would not look tooo bad.

Polished aluminum

Might be a problem seeing as its stainless steel :p Hahahaha but yeah I also thought about polishing it. But think it might be a bit much

Have to remember it will have another side which is almost a mirror of this side. If i go color I sort of want to do either something brand neutral or each side individual branding.

Oh and sorry if I confused people by posting on my personal account. Just running around at the moment :p

board undercoat with minimalist detailing

for that board posted, either gun metal (if that is the silver/grey on the board) with pin stripes in black like on the board, or vice versa coloring

the gun metal as undercoat would make the board pop more, but if you made the undercoat black and kind of extended the stripes from the board to the case

Not a bad idea :) will have a think about it. Maybe even do a gunmetal undercoat with matte black crackle on top.

Hi Guys.

So here's a little update for you. Got the Intel side of the chassis back from laser cutting, and I must say I'm super stoked with how it turned out.
Safe to say that this case is gonna be huge. It makes a standard ATX motherboard look like a M-ITX.

I've also kept the logo cut outs, and will most likely be sanding them down to a clean finish to be reused along the reservoir.

Also I can now confirm that the Intel side will be using either a 1080ti Strix or Poseidon (Possibly 2 in SLI), depending on what Bitspower will be sending our way.

That's about it for now.
Hope you guys enjoy the pics.

Motherboard Stand-offs work in reverse, using a nut that locks onto the screw.

interested to see how the AMD side is going to be done

Motherboard will be flipped, so the cables still come out the back. Still deciding but cards will probably be above the motherboard (If i can figure out a way to get the pci-e cable setup in such a way)

Mainly yes, If everything fits well. Otherwise I might tweek it. Still needs glass, mounting hardware etc.

Judging by the two GPU mounts that you had laser cut for the Intel side, you are going with two GPU's for the Intel system?

I would love to see more. Are you going to close it with perspex?
