Why I will always choose Huawei

In my experience a lot of people mock me for owning a Huawei thinking it's a cheap Chinese phone (and that's not even Apple users), but little do they know...

Anywho, I've converted my entire family to Huawei because I truly believe in their products. But they offer something of even more value, great customer service.

I phoned their call centre today to ask about the Android P and EMUI 9 Beta programme and why I haven't been approved. First of all the call centre is I'm South Africa, all the points for that. Second of all the guy I spoke to (Lerato) was excellent, treating me with respect and he was very knowledgeable about the Beta programme. He also was able to pronounce my name and surname which even I struggle with.

So he helped me get in touch with the correct department. After phoning the incentive department, they couldn't quite figure out why my profile wasn't on the system, so I sent Lerato an email stating that they cannot assist does he have any other solutions and...

So I watched this movie over the weekend and OH BOY was it bad!
I never read reviews or ratings, I usually read the description and decide if I want to watch it.
It sounded interesting, but actually it was boring AF.

Introducing PlayStation Classic, with 20 Pre-Loaded Games

Almost 25 years ago, the original PlayStation was introduced to the world. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment, it was the first home console in video game history to ship 100 million units worldwide, offering consumers a chance to play games with real-time 3D rendered graphics in their homes for the first time.

Today, we are excited to announce that we are bringing back the original PlayStation experience in a new miniaturized version – PlayStation Classic! The console will come pre-loaded with 20 classic titles, including fan-favorites such as Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms.

The mini console is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation, and it emulates the original’s look and feel by featuring similar controllers and packaging. Long-time fans will appreciate the nostalgia that comes with rediscovering the games they know and love, while gamers who might be new to the platform...

Navigating modern reviews

It's not secret that modern hardware reviews tend to be rubbish.
Short of a handful of channels and sites, you're just being told what is on the box essentially - looking at unreliable benchmarks and fluff.
This applies almost exclusively to motherboards, dram and cpus but mostly the first two.

While not a review as such, it is related and is important
Intel i7-8700K Coffee Lake Memory Benchmark Analysis
This Memory Performance Analysis at TPU took a lot of work of course and it's well put together for sure. This is not something against W1zzard or anyone, but pointing out an error that you see on YouTube Channels, written reviews etc.
The issue here is that the data is not reliable, in fact it doesn't tell you anything as measuring performance like that is unreliable and very much motherboard and firmware dependant.

If you ever wanted to call INTEL out for unfair business practices

This site AMD Flaws and the video which plays within (scroll down) is laughable.
I'm still not sure if this is a joke or not, as there's no way anyone can't put together what is being set up here.
* One of INTEL's chief engineering or R&D centres is in Israel, and this security company also hails from there.
* These new vulnerabilities come near a month before Ryzen 2000 series launch. (Ahead of Z390 most likely)
* CTS Labs YouTube channel has 3 subscribers and a MArch 10 2018 join date, has this one video and another one shorter one talking about these vulnerabilities.
* Nothign outside of this exists for CTS Labs. No history, no references nothing.

Not saying it's true or not for sure, but it does raise suspicion.
This is a smear campaign straight up.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but the YouTube picture or title picture for this video...

EVGA Announces the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|ngp|n Edition Graphics Card
Was going to post the following, but decided to post it here instead
Clearly EVGA isn't marketing this right or the purpose of such a card is being misunderstood.
What makes a card like this worthwhile, has zero to do with air clocks. You really need to take it under LN2 to appreciate the difference between this card and all the other ones.

It's very odd that PC DIY "fans" (I'll not say enthusiasts because in any other sphere, the enthusiasts generally know what they are talking about in detail and talk facts and figures or at least argue around some rudimentary understanding).
They simply don't get the basic principle of what such cards are for and what makes them different from the FE.

That one can reach 2025MHz on their card using the factory supplied cooler has...
