    definitely moving over to a 7820x next year, will be waiting for a deal on carb. It can boost up to 4.5ghz on Turbo Boost 3 stock, I like the sound of that. Will see if I can push 5ghz like the peeps are doing on the 7700k. 5ghz has such a nice ring to it.

    to be fair you probably don't have to and I would probably want to go up to a 8 core in your circumstances but given Intel is going to price the hexcore at the absolute limit of affordablity for most probably get a 7820X is fine.

    I am in that phase where I would like to get a AMD 10 or 12 core at the price of intels 6-8 core offerings and it will probably be just fine. but on the other hand right now I give absolutely no ....ks for hardware, I am back to gaming now and hardware means absolutely nothing to me. You can still max out new games on old tech, no frills.

    and here i am looking for an i3 6100 and will be happy and eternally grateful if i get such and some folks are already looking into 16core cpus
