*** Faulty - the chip that controls the fans have burned out. It might be possible to replace it / have it repaired, but i don't have access to such services. The card runs perfectly fine but with heavy use and the fans not spinning up, overheats and then shuts down to prevent damage. I have connected the fans directly a power outlet and then it works but at full throttle all the time.
Possible solutions in order of what i think will be best:

Lastly, a quick note to fellow carbies selling something that is broken/not 100%/questionable - make it cheap. Don't just knock a R100 off of a 4 digit price tag. That way we also help those who can't always afford the regular prices. Not trying to upset anyone; I'm just saying.
