Any recommendations for someone on the shorter side? 1.7m, 67kg.

    Hey harties,

I would also recommend the player for you but you would be comfortable in any of the chairs.

    Hi
Just a question regarding the armrest adjustments. Are they height adjustable only? Can they be swivelled or adjusted in any other way?

    Hi

To my understanding only height. 2D adjustable means height only, 4D points to fully adjustable with angles, which these aren't.

Thanks. Was hoping at this price point the would have had the angle adjustments as well.
Considering the corsair and others have the facility.

Mods just delete my comment if this is not allowed as I know South Africa doesn't allow advertising bashing of products.

Retrovega one simply can't compare the chairs. I read a ton of reviews when I saw the AKRacing chairs were coming up for sale here and only AKRacing and DXRacer sits at the top as competition as solid long lasting chairs. Read the following review:

    https://www.bit-tech.net/reviews/tec...race-review/1/

The corsair might have 4D arm rests, but they are wobbly, not well constructed. The wheel base is plastic, and overall the setup of the chair feels like a generic office chair.

Apologies then too - i didn't meant to come across as bashing a product. Just researching to decide on a final purchase.
    Thanks Recho.

No, lol, wasn't referring to your comment, just mine, don't want to come across as if I am bashing corsair for AKRacing. But yeah, should be getting my chair today, so will post some pics and a review tonight/tomorrow, looking really forward to be honest, as I am using a Makro office chair at the moment.

    Re: AKRacing Gaming Chairs

    Hi @Retrovega

Yes our current models only have the up / down height adjustment.

When we went looking for chairs at a convention in Taiwan we had two check boxes we needed ticked above everything else. Comfort and build quality. We want our customers to loving sitting on their chairs and we want the chairs to last a very long time. If you look at the construction of how the chair is made and with an aluminium base you will see this is a high quality product. This is where many other manufacturers fall down in my eyes. Should something break after your warranty period we will also carry a full range of spares so you would not have to buy a new chair.

Most if not all gaming brands are jumping on the gaming chair bandwagon, but they are not specialists at chair design or manufacture, they just want a piece of the market. AK Racing's primary focus is chairs and not PC components etc. While many chairs out there look great in pictures and have great gimmicky features they lack the comfort and build quality.
