Will a GTX1060 fit my PC?

    Hi guys !!

So I'm definitely gonna buy myself a GTX1060, the one thing that is stopping me is the fact that I'm not sure if it will physically fit into my PC, and be compatible with my motherboard and other specs. I would just like some advice as to whether this GPU will fit my pc?

    My specs are as follows:
    Motherboard: ASUS H97M-E
    RAM: 16gb
GPU: GTX760 (Gonna replace it with the 1060)
PSU: Duel Forward Power Supply ZM600-LX

Don't know if I need to give more specs but I believe this is all that is needed?

Lastly, please excuse the noob question, I am not really a master when it comes to PC parts and compatibility etc.

    Thanks in advance !!

As long as it fits in your case (which it will), then yes

The 1060 will most likely be the same size or smaller than your 760

Will it fit in that motherboard? Sure.
Will it fit in your case? Depends what case you have
Is it compatible with your power supply? As far as I can tell that PSU has 2 x 6+2pin outputs so you should be covered. Just check what power plugs your new card needs.

Side note: Do everything in your power to replace that power supply as soon as humanly possible. It's an embarrassment to the Zalman brand and its awful ripple (wobbly 12v output) will be aging your other components.

It mostly depends on what case you are running it in but a 1060 shouldn't have a problem fitting in a lot of cases unless you are doing a mini-itx build, that also then raises the next question, 1060 mini or normal 1060? something like the Zotac or Exoc are smaller whilst the Asus version is triple cooled so a bikkie longer.

I vote the first one. Well if it's one of those you can clip off at any desired length. Have fun reading a ruler if the case remains upright. And I don't even want to know how measurement via fruit works.

That said though the 1060 is a fairly small card and should definitely fit unless for some unknown reason you end up with an extraordinarily long card.
