    Maybe someone can help.
I checked out the VIN number for my zx6r which is a 2008 model.
However the VIN number comes back saying it's for a 1993 ZZR600...
Do we (South Africans) have a different system for VIN Numbers than the US and UK?
Or is it possible that the bike was rebuilt onto a 1993 zzr600 frame as this is where the VIN number is located?
You will easily be able to see if it has a old 1993 frame. So doubt that is the case.
Is it maybe a grey import?

Not sure if the VIN will come up funny as a result of that, only thing I can think of

There really isn't that much between them while the Street also eats less chains and tyres.

Speed Triple is a muscle bike and if you want to say your pee is bigger than the next oke's then sure knock yourself out but if you want to have more fun for less money buy a Street.

Remember they are Triples so it's not like the I4's where the 600's lack the torque of the bigger bikes.

Also being naked they are compromised for top speeds so you can't even argue that between them.

Ask yourself why they've never built a Daytona 1050.
Mmm Interesting. Will take that into account when I get my KTM 1290
