Home Assistant integrated into Deye/Sunsynk inverter

The three phase version of my firmware has been running for a few weeks now and I have decided that it is ready. You can now have your 3Phase Sunsynk or Deye inverter part of your smart home. This opens up possibilities for people running the 50kW High Voltage inverters running in off-grid setups on remote locations such as farms where excess energy can be routed towards irrigation.

@iiznh
Wanted to ask. What pins on the RJ45 are to be terminated?
Am going to place and order today for a unit but can make my own cable.

Cheers and keep up the amazing work you are doing!

If you look on my website I added some high res images (most people miss them, image 3 and 4 of the SmartDeyeDongle) . To answer your question: Pin 1 and 2 (Orange/White and Orange) or you can also use pin 7,8 (Brown and Brown/White). You are welcome to make your own cables, any CAT 5/6 will work they are close to the required impedance and work well for RS485

Thanks.
Will be ordering shortly

I have a different use case - want to add a remote inverter and get info via the sunsynk api into HA? Has anyone seen anything for this? Dont want to put any other device there..... but could be persuaded

Thanks this looks super helpful - am not winning yet. Suspect its because I have a few plants on my profile, not sure if I have to be the plant owner.

I also started with Node red way back in the day. It worked but the amount of frustrations quickly became too much.
If you buy a new graphics card do you want to develop the drivers and optimise the 3D rendering? Or do you just wanna play the (solar) game and advance to the next (eskom free) level?
