Good day my beautiful Carb members. I need some assistance in finding the make and model of this truck as this will be an upcoming project.

Thanks! Really looking forward to some answers :D

Could be a 1950's Chevy pickup

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much love :D
You're most welcome... I nearly confused it with the Ford F1 of the same era . The difference I found was the F1 didn't have a split windscreen, the bonnet is higher in the front end with grill inserts and the headlights are positioned more to the sides.
Since you have it and may want to restore it . Search around , I came across it on a forum. Apparently there where petrol and 2 stroke diesel versions .

I was looking too and I think my mistake was looking for a pick up which is very American. The American ones don't seem to have that light configuration, always headlights on the edges with indicators (?) Above or below.

Agreed I was also led to believing it was American. The closest was the F1 Ford but it just didn't match . Then I figured next best was Land Rover as their 1st gen had a similar config with the headlights and indicators on the sides and I figured why not . That's when I decided to search up British trucks . I really found this interesting.

:D! That was my problem too. Went straight to US trucks as someone said it's a ford at first.

The new version will be built mostly custom design, trying to mix some other truck styles in and complete redo underneath. Needs the Toyota Cruizer V8 kit. Will send pictures one day! Needed to find the original vehicle so it's easier to work with. Very interesting info you have, thanks :D

I couldn't find any trucks with the lights so close together. First thought the holes on the side will be for indicators. Realized they didn't have on the front, only reflectors. Different times :p someone told me that will be for the grill or front part of the truck, those body parts need to be held properly as it weighs so much.

I guess it's one of those gotcha moments 😂.

Id love to see the end result. All the best .
I see there's a thread on the 4x4 community as well. Might be worth checking out.
