I also did a repair on a sennheiser headset - the volume rocker has a really crap potentiometer (volume turning know thing), so you need to open it up and bypass it (you can google this), and it's super easy to do with a buddy that has a soldering iron. Also improved my sound quality :D

Sounds like an ISP specific issue. Try Cool Ideas for a month, last I remember they prioritize gaming traffic. And I HOPE you are on a month to month contract.

Strangely, B560 motherboards also support memory overclocking, and PCI Gen 4, but not sure that's the biggest issue, as the Z490 you listed has better onboard sound.

You could also look at a basic 10400 / 10500 or 11400 CPU, B560 Mobo, and 2x8 3200 RAM kit.

Strangely I bought a couple of Cougar Mesh cases for the esport teams at my school, and they are SMALL for a mid tower, the fans and glass panel looks really nice, and yes, the build quality was on the lighter side, but once built and on the desk, they work and look amazing. Very happy.
