Why don’t you try installing Plex server just to confirm if it’s an issue with your network or an Emby issue? Basically, install Plex, make sure the relevant port is open and then try to access it remotely. If it works, then it’s an Emby issue.

SwitchResX does a good job with unlocking HiDPi modes that may not be detected by default. If you enable a HiDPi mode that’s 1440p, you should get your desktop being rendered at a size that looks like it’s 1440p due to the size of the UI elements, but it will still be 4K to give you crisp...

Have you tried booting from a Linux live USB? If it works, then it can more or less rule out your hardware as the problem.
