Afternoon Carbies I have the logitech z407 speakers, they've worked well since 2021. About 2 weeks ago, the sound would cut out mid watching anything and there would be an (almost) interfering sound like back in the days.. if left it goes away...or to stop it, i would put the speakers on mute...

Have you tried your RAM in another board to see if it's the ram or the board? Could be an easy elimination

I know you said the rams worked but not after swapping them. I've had an issue where the RAM speed did not match the board speed. Getting correct RAM that corresponds to the motherboard, is what solved it for me on 2 separate builds - symptoms were the exact same as you explained.

Hi I have this old ZBoard that i got from a friend 15+ years ago. Arct Arctic PWM PST's are the best in my opinion ( i have them in both rigs at home and will be replacing another pc with those fans).... Tech Guy SA has them aswel.. i bought 2 x 5packs from him. Awesome guy too.

Any ideas who would be able to or where I could take it to have it checked out and if so, have the ribbon replaced if that is the issue?

hmmm... a line you say.... 🤔 It sounds like you could be right about the ribbon cable - the monitor does not get moved around alot.. it's pretty much on the desk and that's where it stays. I'll have to look into that.. (y)(y)(y)
